Handmade snuffle mat. Almost 200 pieces of fleece are cut and double granny knotted into a plastic sink mat that measures 5.5”x6”. I use 2 different lengths of fleece throughout in order to make the game a bit trickier. I frame each mat in black fleece to add structure to the mat.

These enrichment toys are a great addition to your pets toys. It is important for your pet to use their nose and foraging behavior to keep them mentally stimulated. Great stress reliever and distraction when your pup is craving your attention. Amazing boredom buster that provides both mental and physical exercise. If you feed kibble, you can sprinkle the kibble around the mat, hiding it in nooks and crannies, and give the mat to your dog, using it as an excellent slow feeder!

New to snuffling? No problem! Just sprinkle a few treats on top. As your dog learns the game, you can rub the treats in a bit so they fall into the fleecy depths. Your dog is a natural and will love this activity!

Final size is approximately 14”x10”x3” which works perfectly for many size dogs. Can be easily rolled up and stored.

When the mat gets a bit slobbery, you can wash separately on gentle cycle. Be sure to air dry to preserve the integrity for a long time.
